El Paso Refinery
Step 1: Requirements for Working at the Refinery
Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
MPC El Paso Refinery requires all contract employees to be enrolled, and they must participate in, an approved drug and alcohol testing program (DISA). The contract employee must have an "active/green" status in order to be issued a refinery access badge. Any "inactive/red" status results must be managed directly with DISA and not MPC personnel. All DISA expenses are the responsibility of the contractor and not MPC.
Background Check Requirements
Graded background checks are required for everyone requesting a MPC entry badge. DISA Global Solutions is the risk management screening provider for the El Paso Refinery. The graded score must be a 2 or below.
